Arno Hoogaars
Key Account Manager
tilburg – NL

Arno has 20 years of experience in the logistics industry.   He originally worked for Penske Logistics, moving from the road freight to air freight departments.   He was responsible for managing large automotive clients, primarily supporting their US supply chain requirements, with daily airfreight shipments to and from Detroit.

In 2008, Arno decided to move to Sony Logistics – and broadened his experience and skillset, learning customs clearance processes, regulatory compliance and enhancing his overall logistics expertise.

7 years later, Arno joined Horizon in 2015 as a Logistics Specialist, handling imports and exports for a major consumer technology brand.   After a short time, he was promoted to becoming Account Manager for this client, ensuring that service levels and communication standards are maintained and providing a dedicated “control tower” point of contact.

Arno has been married for 11 years and enjoys walking his dog and spending time with his family.



Georgia is one of many Horizon team members who joined us straight from school.

Initially, Georgia worked within our Ocean operation on work experience, whilst still at school.   Then following the end of her studies & having been greatly impressed with her, she was offered a junior position within the Far East Import Consolidation team.

A year later, having shown exceptional dedication and being a quick learner, Georgia was entrusted with managing a small selection of clients, including some overseas agent partners.   Through this more commercial role, Georgia became exposed to working with Amazon FBA sellers and was one of the pioneers in developing a full service capability to support them.

After six years within the Far East Import Consolidation team and having developed a deep understanding of the business, Georgia was promoted to senior import clerk.   Her exceptional customer service skills and organisational abilities were deployed to manage one of Horizon’s largest clients – a global tier one automotive supplier, supported by our enterprise supply chain system, hiCloud.

Having worked with Horizon for over 8 years, Georgia took a brief sabbatical in late 2018 to travel throughout Southeast Asia.   This trip gave her the opportunity to indulge her interest in photography.

Nicky Morgan 
Airfreight Imports
London Heathrow – UK

Nicky is one of our longest serving team members, having joined us in 2001.

Throughout her career with Horizon, Nicky has been responsible for airfreight imports for one of our major accounts – a global consumer technology brand.   Nicky oversees the client’s requirements from “door to door”, including performing customs clearance, arranging retrieval from the airline and final mile delivery.

Nicky also supports her import team members to manage inbound airfreight consolidation shipments on behalf of a range of clients.

In her spare time, Nicky is a ballroom and latin dancer.



Charles Noh
US Supply Chain Director
Los Angeles – USA

Charles is amongst our most versatile and experienced senior team members.

Charles joined Horizon International in May 2010 as General Manager of our Miami office. Prior to joining us, he had worked in the logistics industry since 1998, in a range of roles, including as a customs broker and as a specialist in managing global consumer technology brands.
Charles built the Miami office to 16 personnel, then took on the challenge of managing our Los Angeles branch as Senior General Manager in July 2013.

Following the establishment of Horizon’s supply chain division in 2014, Charles decided to broaden his experience and moved into a newly created role as US Supply Chain Director in early 2017. He works closely with Richard Perriman, Vice-President, Supply Chain Development, helping clients to review their existing processes and achieve benefits for them. He has been heavily involved in our US e-Fulfilment activities and continues to grow our supply chain business in the US.

Charles is very much a family man, with a young son and married for 14 years. He is a golfer and a fan of the LA Dodgers. He is also a keen skier and enjoys camping trips.

joshua ferrer
air import supervisor
chicago – USA

Joshua joined Horizon International in April 2015.   For the previous 8 years, he had worked within the logistics team for a global consumer technology brand.

He joined Horizon as an Air Coordinator, but was promoted to Air Import Supervisor within 2 years, overseeing all import operations into our busy and fast-growing Chicago station.

Joshua is married and looks forward to continuing as a integral part of our Chicago team.


Ivana is our Fulfilment Services Manager, based at our London Heathrow corporate headquarters.

She is responsible for managing the needs of our eCommerce clients, from receipt of inventory, processing orders through to final mile despatch to end customers.

Ivana joined Horizon in 2017 as Fulfilment Services Supervisor and was soon promoted into a management position.   Previously she had worked for 3 years as Logistics Manager for a large furniture hire company, responsible for logistics, sales, planning, HR & transport).   Prior to that she was employed for 6 years by one of the UK’s largest warehousing and distribution organisations, starting as a picker/packer – progressing into an operations & administration position, then as a logistics team leader.   As a result, she gained experience in all facets of inventory management, eFulfilment and warehouse management technology.   This combined experience has been invaluable in equipping Ivana to manage our client’s wide & varied requirements.

In her spare time, Ivana loves to travel and is also a very proficient roller-blader!


Travis Villalva
Operations Manager
Salt Lake City

Travis joined Horizon in December 2011. Before Horizon, Travis worked within the freight forwarding industry working for a local trucking, LTL and line haul companies then moving to another Freight Forwarder. As Operations Manager Travis enjoys overcoming obstacles and finding creative solutions to help customers achieve their delivery deadlines.

Outside of work Travis enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball and going for motorcycle rides through the mountains.


Erica Torres
Operations Supervisor

Erica is the operation supervisor for the NYC office. Her responsibilities are to ensure her teammates are following export/import procedures. If any issues occur with the department Erica will intervene and find every solution to resolve any issues. Making sure our customers are being well handled and providing the best possible service.

Erica joined Horizon International in April 2017. Previously Erica worked for SBS Worldwide as the ocean export manager. Following SBS at Blue Water Shipping for 3 years running the air/ocean export team. It was here that Erica learnt how to handle ocean/air import. Erica also helped the house broker to file ISF for all ocean import shipments coming into the US.

Erica really enjoys being a team leader and helping her colleagues wherever required or needed. She is determined and always pushing forward to make the NYC office more profitable by bringing in new clients and contributing to the company growth. In her spare time, she enjoys outings with her family and spending quality time with loved ones.


Robin Krispijn
Import Manager Airfreight

Robin Joined Horizon in September 2016 as our Airfreight Import Manager in the Amsterdam office. Before Horizon Robin worked at ITG for 5 years, also a logistics company.

Robin takes great value in his customer service “when the customer is happy I am happy. We make the impossible possible for the customer. I like the responsibility I have and the family atmosphere at this office, I like the freedom we have and the flexibility of Horizon offers to their employees.

Outside of work Robin interests involve spending time with family, especially his young son and friends. Hobbies include playing and coaching football


Arthur Hwang
Operations Manager

Previously to Horizon International Arthur Worked in Uniworld Express. He started in Documentation and moved to Supervisor 5+ years (forwarding position air/sea/oversize) then moved onto Container Chassis Parts (Sales / Operations) for 1 year. Arthur started with Horizon in Aug 2012 as our  Operations Manager in the Los Angeles Office, focusing on providing support for the air and sea departments. He enjoys Interacting with his peers and providing solutions.


Ji Duke
Operations Manager

Ji is a long term member of the HIC Miami team starting with us in 2010. She held a very crucial role supporting a key client and had progressed from a junior position into her current role as operations manager.

Ji has an outstanding performer, always very focused and a self-starter. In her free time, she enjoys nature, reading and has a passion for exotic Teas.


Andy Nicholls
Vice President – Business Development

Andy is a member of Horizon International’s senior management team, heading Cargo Sales in both the UK and USA. His teams are responsible for generating new business supporting our key TransAtlantic tradelane.

Andy joined Horizon International in September 2013, based in our Los Angeles office, heading our US operations. He relocated back to the UK in June 2015.

Andy has worked in the freight and logistics industry for most of his working life – prior to which he worked in the manufacturing sector, focussed on international shipping. He relocated from the UK to the US in 2000, initially based in New York – then moving west to Los Angeles, where he opened 2 offices for previous employers prior to joining Horizon.

He enjoys helping clients by delivering solutions to their needs and solving problems. This element of his job gives him the most personal satisfaction. In his view, the more challenging the need; the greater the satisfaction.

In his spare time, Andy follows most sports, including football, cricket and athletics. He also enjoys driving his classic 2 seater sports car around country lanes at weekends (when the sun is shining!).



Kyra joined Horizon in August 2013 as Import and Operations Agent. She is responsible for all sea freight import shipments, handling the whole chain from sending a quote till set up delivery. Before Horizon Kyra had an internship at Neele-Vat Logistics in their customer service departments for imports and exports.

Kyra loves the contact that she has with clients and suppliers and always takes that extra step to ensure that they are happy and satisfied.  With the diversity of the work that she does two days are never the same and enjoys being part of the whole chain.

Outside of work Kyra likes to spend time with family and friends and also watching Netflix if she has spare time left. Hobbies include cardio boxing and swimming.




Mark joined in August 2017 and works as Air Export Agent – his role is to coordinate air exports including quoting, scheduling pickups and deliveries, bookings, follow up with clients and invoicing. Prior to Horizon, Mark worked for another freight forwarding company.

He enjoys working within a team that is always supportive and helpful as well as being able to gain further experience and understanding of export operations.

Mark is a huge sports fan, music junkie and foodie. He also enjoys the outdoors, snowboarding, body-boarding and basketball.



Louise, our Admin Support Clerk, has worked for Horizon since March 2017.  Her role includes compliance H&S, ISO & AEO administration, staff training, staff recruitment, sales support, operational support and arranging the all important Christmas party!  The one thing she enjoys the most about her role is the variation, not one day is the same.

Prior to Horizon Louise worked for NNR for 3 years in a very similar occupation.

Louise enjoys spending time with friends and family – she has 2 teenage children, camping and celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary this September.



Miho joined Horizon International in April 2013.   She is a key team member within our freight department, handling imports & exports by air and ocean.

Miho has developed excellent relationships with clients and provides exceptional customer service.


Simon Felberg
export team leader

Simon started at Horizon in 2000 and is our Export Team Leader in the London Airfreight department.

Having nearly 40 years’ experience in the industry he specialises in military, licences and carnets.  Handling many high profile and time sensitive events in the sports and music industry, from South America to USA and Far East to Europe he enjoys challenges and learning new procedures to improve Horizon’s client’s quality of service.

In Simon’s spare time he is involved in local religious community matters, enjoys reading, listening to music and watching films.  He has just celebrated 30 years of marriage and has 3 children and two grandchildren.  Simon’s ambition is to be a beekeeper when he retires.


Erick Mejia
Ocean supervisor
california, usa

Erick joined Horizon International in April 2015 and is Ocean Supervisor in the California office. His role as a team leader is to make sure they are all working together and not leaving a single member behind, assisting on projects or help them solve any issues that may arise.

Erick has been in the freight forwarding industry since 2003 working in various roles such as warehouse functions, export duties and supply chain solutions. He likes to stay up to date with new rules, regulations, shipping arrangements and much more and learn along the way.

The part in his role that Erick enjoys the most is finding solutions to the questions being raised on a daily basis. Whether it’s completing quotations, assisting customers with the best way of shipping their freight, and assisting team members. Spreading his wisdom is something he enjoys.

Outside of work Erick likes taking on many challenges. He enjoys cycling and running – having completed 7 Marathons and is now training for triathlons. He also enjoys attending horror themed cosplay events with his wife – dressing up as his favourite characters and taking pictures with other people.



Carlos joined Horizon in 2017, based in our Miami Office.   He covers the Southeastern US and Latin America.   He is responsible for developing new business across our full portfolio of products and services.

With over 25 years of experience with other global logistics organisations, he has created a strong network of business relationships with both clients and partners.    His experience and expertise covers all modes of transportation and Multimodal Asia projects.

Carlos enjoys finding the right solutions for customers and building strong relationships; making Horizon the “Goto company”.

Carlos, enjoys being a true team-player at Horizon, working closely with our operations teams to ensure clients receive the highest standards of service.

As an avid sports fan, he loves all the Miami teams and enjoys “talking sports” with his family and friends.


Jose joined Horizon International, Barcelona on 1st February 2010 as Operations Manager and was promoted to Network Manager in 2015.

He is responsible for promoting Horizon’s agency relationships for the group, expanding our representation in overseas countries & attending agency conferences all over the world.

Jose started in the logistics business in 1994 as an oceanfreight manager and held different positions before joining Horizon International.

He enjoys being in touch with our global operational teams and connecting them with our partners throughout the world.

Away of work, he is passionate about his family, avant-garde and traditional cuisine and photography.   He also enjoys taking long walks by the beach near his home.



Sian joined Horizon International straight from school.   She has progressed quickly in the 2 years since joining and thoroughly enjoys the many challenges she faces working in our busy Ocean Import team.

Sian has built great relationships with both clients and colleagues and is known for her exceptional communication skills.

She has proven herself to be a great asset to the team and certainly has a very bright future ahead!

In her spare time, Sian enjoys being a Brownie Leader (“Sweet Owl”).



Chloe joined Horizon International in December 2019.    She had previously worked for a well known hotel chain.

She enjoys working with new clients and communicating with our network offices across the globe.

Chloe is very ambitious and sees a great future for herself as part of Horizon’s fast-growing Oceanfreight Team!

In her spare time, Chloe enjoys visiting the gym and walking her dog.
